What's more, 85% of all textiles go to the dump each year. The impact of fast fashion is immense - pressure to reduce costs and speed up production time means that environmental corners as well as workers' wages are cut in the name of profit.

We source our collections from small and local designers and makers, making sure that their company ethics are on par with what Iron Forest Store stands for.

Every brand has their own way of approaching sustainability. Whether it is recycling and reusing otherwise discarded materials, investing in new technologies to create plastic-free or biodegradable fabrics, sourcing things locally, offsetting their carbon emissions.
